Patriotic Nails !!

Being American, I always have a fun time doing patriotic nails for Independence Day !!
Here are two different, super easy tutorials
that you can complete in 5 steps or less.

Here's what you'll need:

Red nail polish: Essie Watermelon
Dark blue nail polish: China Glaze Calypso Blue
Silver stripe/line color: by Kiss
White stripe/line color: by Stripe Rite
Top coat: Essie
A thin brush to line if you don't have the striping polishes

Patriotic Zebra Nails
Step 1:
Apply a base coat, if desired.

Step 2:
Apply  your red and/or blue colors to desired nails

Step 3:
Taking a white or silver color with a thin brush, start making zebra stripes.
You can create these by making the outside of the line thicker and the end of the line thinner
(just see the picture above)

Step 4:
Repeat with other color if desired

Step 5:
Wait until the nail polish COMPLETELY dries,
otherwise the background color will leak onto the white/silver color

Patriotic Polka Dots and Stripes Nails
Repeat steps 1 & 2

Step 3:
Take the white color with a thin brush and dot on polka dots to one of the accent nails

Step 4:
Take the white color with a thin brush and paint on thin stripes with a steady hand
(however thick or thin you desire)

Step 5:
Once your nails are COMPLETELY dry, apply your top coat
