Everyday Makeup Routine

IN THIS ORDER I:

MOISTURIZE

Cetaphil Moisturizer with SPF 15

PRIME

I use Hard Candy Sheer Envy Primer

APPLY FOUNDATION

L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup with SPF 17 in "warm light ivory w2"

(I really only apply this to parts of my cheeks and my chin

as a base for my concealer where I need it most to even out my skin tone)

CONCEAL

Revlon Photo Ready Concealer with SPF 20 in "Light Pale 002"

Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller (for under eye circles)

SET

Cover Girl Clean Sensitive Skin Pressed Powder in "225 Buff Beige"

APPLY BRONZER

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in "022 Sun Bronze"

(I apply this to the hollows of my cheeks, temples, 

and down my nose and chin)

APPLY BLUSH

ELF Blush in Peachy Keen

HIGHLIGHT

Cover Girl eye enhancers in Champagne

(I apply this to the tops of my cheek bones, down my nose, 

underneath my eyebrows, and on the inner corner of my eye)

(I know it's technically an eye product but

 it is seriously the best drugstore powder highlight i have found)

APPLY MASCARA

Curl my lashes using a black and red Revlon eyelash curler

Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume Mascara (not waterproof) 

(to top and bottom lashes)

APPLY EYELINER

IF I have an eventful day ahead of me...

I will apply winged eyeliner using

Maybelline Line Stiletto Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black

APPLY LIPGLOSS

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss

in French Kiss or Nude Peach

This seems like a lot, but it really isn't

im not a beginner in makeup and i have my routine down

so it takes me about 10 minutes

Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume Mascara (non-waterproof) Review

I have been using this product probably for about a year now. 

It has easily become my favorite mascara!

I am one who prefers dry mascaras over really wet ones,

I find them easier to work with.

My eyelashes are also on the thin side and average in length.

PROS

Drier formula

Doesn't clump easily

VERY Buildable

Gives length and volume to your lashes

Affordable- around $6-$7

Available anywhere Cover Girl products are sold

Works really well for bottom lashes as well

Holds curl all day!

I have worn this swimming before and

as long as I didn't touch my eyes,

it didn't run all over my face.

CONS

Dries out before 3 months

(honestly, I use it up in about a month anyways)

I have seen it priced as much as $9...

So watch where you buy it

I have found this mascara to be the best out of the Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara line

(Fusion, Luxe, Length, Waterproof)

I have repurchased this mascara several times

It is definitely one of my favorite mascaras :)

Shower Beauty Tips

Exfoliate BEFORE you shave. 

This will give you a much closer and smoother shave!

Exfoliate your entire body (including face) 1-2 times every week. 

This keeps your skin soft :)

This body wash  is a two-in-one body wash and exfoliator.
It smells tropically fantastic! 


Either use a hair mask or deep condition your hair 1-2 times a week. 

Especially if you are trying to grow it out! 

It makes your hair super soft and keeps it healthy.
I use...

Blast your hair with cold water for 30 seconds to 1 minute 

right before you get out of the shower.

(Taking a warm shower is the most beneficial because 

it's warm enough to heat activate products but 

not hot enough to strip your skin of all moisture!)

This is what makes your hair shiny!

Wash your hands before you wash your face.

This keeps the excess dirt and bacteria that is on your hands off your face!

If you are out of shaving gel, you can use conditioner instead!

Once you are finished in the shower...

PAT your skin dry

DO NOT RUB

because it takes away any natural moisture or oils your body has

therefore drying it out and possibly causing irritation

Moisturize your body after EVERY shower.

(do your best to use lotions with sunscreen daily...

you'll thank yourself when you're older!)

Go To Nail Polish

No matter the season, 

I always have a few nail polishes

I turn to when I'm in a hurry

or they're just simply my favorite :)

Any black nail polish.

Black is a staple color for me.

It goes with everything!

Summer Makeup Essentials (especially for acne scarring)

Face Primer

Especially in the summer with it being so hot

you'll want your makeup to last.

Light-weight Foundation or Tinted Moisturizer

The summer months are always hot and 

you don't want to be sweating off a ton of makeup!

A light-weight foundation/tinted moisturizer (WITH SPF)

will help even out your skin tone

without putting too much on your face.

Concealer

Just to hide those unwanted zits or acne scars

Bronzer

To give your face that extra bronzed appearance

Highlighter

This will compliment the bronzed appearance by giving it a glow

"ELF blush in glow"

Mascara

Make those lashes stand out without 

looking like you spent time on your makeup :)

if you are going swimming, use waterproof!

If you're going out

 you can add eye liner 

to make your look more dramatic!

or even colored eyeliner ;) 

Lipgloss

To add that finished touch to your look.

They give a nice sheen and opacity to your lips 
without having to use a lipstick underneath.

NYX RETRACTABLE LIP LINERS

I only have one, but I love it.

I have it in Citrus.

REVLON LIP BUTTERS

Almost as moisturizing as a chapstick...

but have a better color payoff. 

REVLON COLORBURST LIPSTICKS

I'm not big on lipstick, but I really like this Peach color 

and the texture of the Revlon lipsticks. 

They are my favorite.

REVLON COLORBURST LIPGLOSSES

These are great staple glosses.

They are formulated to go with the Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks I mentioned above.

RIMMEL LONDON MOISTURE RENEW LIPSTICKS

They are not drying at all and they have a great color selection.
My go to lipsticks! I love the vintage pink color-
It's a "my lips but better" color :)

VICTORIAS SECRET BRILLIANT LIP SHINES

I like the brush applicator and the formula

However, not as much product is in the packaging 

as the other lipglosses I mentioned.

At Home Triceps Workout (no weights!)

this is seriously an awesome workout to tone your triceps!

i find it is convenient to do whenever i have a few minutes.

for me, i do 3 reps of 10 either waiting a few minutes between each or 

i will just do them throughout the day!
