Review: Hard Candy Baked Eyeshadow Duo's

I own this Hard Candy Baked Eyeshadow in Peace.
I LOVE the colors.

The lighter one I use on my lid or for highlighting
The darker one I use in my crease
They are very pigmented shadows, however...
I do find that I need to pack the shadow on the brush before I apply it otherwise
You won't be able to see the shadow very well.

But when you pack it on the brush and then apply it,
It lasts all day (with a primer) and gives off amazing color!!
Whenever I wear this eye shadow duo, I honestly usually get complimented.
I would definitely repurchase this duo and try the other ones that are available!

My New Foundation and Makeup Artist Application Trick !!

My Revlon Color Stay Foundation that I did a review on
could have been what was causing me to break-out !
So I was doing research on drugstore foundations
and I came across this video by one of my makeup inspirations, Kandee Johnson!
(LINK BELOW)
Kandee is a celebrity makeup artist and has a very successful youtube channel !!
This video has seriously helped me so much!
I am currently using this foundation and it isn't breaking me out.
I use the colors W2 for my all-over color
and then W5 on the sides of the face
where Kandee demonstrates in the video.

Hope you enjoy !!

Baby Products as Beauty Products!

Baby Wipes

I use these exact baby wipes to take off my face makeup.
I love using these because
they come in huge packs of 80
they come in a version for sensitive skin
they don't break me out
they are around $1-$2
if I'm  feeling extremely lazy or sick, I will just wipe my face with this before I go to bed

Baby Oil

I use this to take off my eye makeup
The bottle is huge so it lasts a long time!
(i've had mine almost a year and I use it daily)
It's cheaper than buying eye makeup remover
It doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes

Baby Powder

I use this as my dry shampoo
The only dry shampoo I actually like is one by John Freida but it was $5 for a tiny bottle
But I read somewhere that baby powder works the same.
It is more practical and affordable because it comes in a much bigger container
This is a miracle worker!
My hair is light brown and I use this almost every other day
It takes all the unwanted oil out of my hair and it doesn't leave any white streaks.
It also adds lots of volume!
(which is hard to do with my hair because it comes down to the end of my sternum)
My younger sister actually uses baby powder as well and her hair is dark dark brown
It leaves no white streaks in her hair

I really hope you guys try this out !!

Beginner Tips: Blush Application

HOW TO APPLY BLUSH
Many people smile and apply their blush to the apples of their cheeks
and then work it up the cheekbone.
However,
I have found that several makeup artists are against this method
because it can actually make you look older than you really are.

When you apply blush to your cheekbones and then stop smiling...
the blush actually lowers down to about the same level as your lips...
which tends to look very dated and weird.

Instead of applying blush to the apples of your cheeks,
apply it to your cheek bone
and stop at about the pupil of your eye!
This will accentuate the cheekbone and create more definition to your face!

I am a huge cream blush fan.
I definitely recommend using peach toned blushes
as they are flattering to most skin tones

I hope this helps!
