My Daily Face Routine

I have finally been able to perfect a face routine that hardly ever makes me break out!

The only time I normally get a break out is during my monthly gift which is just inevitable.

Getting Ready:

Choosing the right moisturizer, primer, foundation combination

When choosing your foundation, face primer, AND mositurizer, you NEED to check the ingredients on the packaging!

You cannot mix oil with water or silicone

You cannot mix water with oil or silicone and so on.

You have to make sure that your foundation, primer, and moisturizer are all either 

water based, oil based, OR silicone based.

This video below helped me and after I learned this little trick, 

I found a combination that worked for me (listed below)

My choice of foundation, primer, and moisturizer (for my skin type)

 is water-based.

Having a water-based foundation helps me to keep my skin more clear than piling on an oily or silicone-filled substance.

I use:

Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15

Smasbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer in Light/Oil-Free

I know that this is a very expensive primer (i think it runs for about $50 for the full size and 

$17 for the mini travel size)

I purchased the travel size to see if i liked it first and i love it! 

ive had it for about 2 months and it hardly has a dent in it.

so $50 for a primer will last you foreverrrrr!

The very first ingredient listed in all of these products is water 

and my makeup stays looking really nice and doesn't separate

 from the time I put it on to the time I take it off everyday.

How To: Voluminous Hair

You'll need:

mousse

volume spray

hairspray

teasing comb

blowdryer

I do my hair the way she does it in this video:

I can usually use this blow-out for 2 days.

I would recommend only teasing your hair if you are going out.

Just don't do it often because it's really bad for your hair!

The volumizing products I listed above will give your hair plenty of volume.

I absolutely love them! 

They are some of the softest items of clothing I own!

I ordered a medium in both because I noticed they were under the unisex section of clothing,
so I didn't want to order too big. 

They both fit a little loose and comfortable.
The black fleece is so warm!

They do free shipping of orders over $100 and they ship worldwide.

I had no problem with my order or with shipping and it took the standard amount of time (4-6 days) 

to arrive.

I definitely plan on reordering from Jawbreaking again!

Is your hair naturally curly or straight? Straight

What is your natural hair colour? Brown

Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon? I recently dyed my hair myself a few shades darker!

How often do you wash your hair? About every 2 days

Do you wear the same style every day or change it? I change it up because I get bored with it haha

Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon? I do my own. I have a nail polish obsession.

How often do you change your nail polish? About once a week

Do you polish your toes in the Winter or just in the Summer? I ALWAYS paint my toes because otherwise they look strange without nail polish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long does it take you to put on your makeup? I LOVE doing my makeup so it depends on how much time. I can do it in 5 if I'm in a hurry, but if I have an hour I will take however long I want :)

What do you do first, face or eyes? Face

Do you “collect” makeup or just buy what you need when you need it? I only buy foundation, mascara and eyeliner when I need it. The rest of the stuff I have a collection of

How often do you wear false eyelashes? I can't get the hang of putting them on! I wish I could.

Do you do a full face of makeup everyday? No

Do you wear makeup when you are home alone, or with family? If I'm home all day, no makeup. If I leave the house, I like to at least have a tinted moisturizer, concealer, and mascara on.

Will you leave the house without makeup? I will, but I don't like to. So usually only if I'm ill.

How many high end products do you have?  I have a few. I'd say under 10.

How often do you wash your makeup brushes? when they have so much gunk they no longer work properly :)))

Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed? Sometimes I'll think about it ahead of time, but otherwise I just do the grab-n-go

How often do you change your handbag?  When the one I'm using gets worn out.

What time do you get up and go to sleep?  I work as a PCA so whenever I pick up all kinds of shifts all the time (morning, evening, overnight) So it depends on what shifts I have worked that week!

How often or when do you work out? I go to the gym 2-3 times a week

Left-handed or right-handed? I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A LEFTY

How tall are you? 5'2 and 3/4" :)

Do you speak a foreign language? I took Spanish in high school so I know the basics.

How many pets do you have?  1 dog, a border collie named Sammy, and 1 cat named Norm.
